Tiger golfers 3rd at Wymore; regular season ends Thursday

Falls City High’s golfers combined to shoot 352 and brought home a third place finish at the Raider Invite held in Wymore on Thursday, April 25.

Milford took home the team title with a score of 336, followed by Syracuse’s 346.

The Tigers matched Milford with four golfers finishing in the top 15, but the Eagles had three medalists compared to Falls City’s two. Tiger senior Brandt Vice went out with 42 and came in with a 43 and finished seventh. Fellow senior Wade Witt shot 41-46 for ninth place. Sophomore’s Brody Weinmann and Weston Witt carded 88 and 92, respectively. Freshman Preston Deckinger shot 102, but was not counted towards the final team total.


The Tigers will look to play their final round of the regular season this Thursday at the Johnson County Central Invitational in Tecumseh before traveling to Omaha for the Class B-1 District Tournament at Tiburon Golf Club.
