Main Street update; gas supplier change

During their April 1 meeting (no fooling), the Falls City Council heard a quarterly report from Eric Barr, Director of the Falls City Chamber of Commerce and Main Street Falls City.

Barr said grant applications have been submitted that, if granted, would help fund the continuation of the program to revitalize downtown Falls City.  A leadership program is being instituted, Barr said, in hopes of widening the pool of potential board members.  And, said Barr, he expects to learn in the near future, about applications that would lead to the downtown area as an historic district, which could open the door to future grants, while not altering Main Street upgrade plans…(More)

Complete the application and once your subscription is verified, you will be granted access to the E-editions.

2.) For those looking to purchase just the E-edition, on the left side of the home page click on the blue Create an account link. You will be taken to a new page where you will need to complete all the necessary information. Select “E-edition” under the subscription plan and you will be directed to the Journal’s PayPal account, where you will then pay the $25 for your 1-year subscription. Once you have paid and payment has been authorized, you will be directed back to the site and full access to the E-editions will be yours.
