FC Journal moves forward with added online services

New appearance of www.fcjournal.net with the E-editions tab to the right of the screen.

As many of you know (or knew I should say), the Falls City Journal’s website was down from mid-September of last year until just recently (March 10th to be exact). There are a cornucopia of reasons for the prolonged absence, but I will save you the trouble and get to the nuts and bolts of why. We’ll come back to this.

 

Survey suggests ag land boom slowing down

Despite an extreme drought and indicators of weaker agricultural earnings on the horizon, Nebraska’s agricultural land markets remain strong, with an overall increase of 25 percent in the last year, according to preliminary findings from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.

HTRS second at State Speech

The Humboldt-TR-S speech team finished runner-up in Class C2 of the NSAA State Speech Contest last Friday in Kearney, earning medals in categories. The team, which is coached by Carl Linnerson, finished with 94 points – 10 behind champion Freeman.
