Lana Tuttle, 64, of Lincoln, passed away in her sleep Sunday, Feb. 11, 2018 in Sterling, Alaska, due to complications from colon cancer. She was born Jan. 1, 1954 in Falls City, to Aileen and Lanthan (Blackie) Camblin.
Lana graduated from Falls City high school in 1972 and married Lester Tuttle on Oct. 4, 1976. They were later divorced. Lana loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. Her other hobbies included drawing, crossword and sudoku puzzles, reading, and taking her beloved dog, Tuffy, for walks. She was also known as Mama T to many of her children’s childhood friends.
Survivors include her five children: daughter, Christina (Marty) Feighner and their children Malorie, Dylan, and Madalyn of Denver, CO; daughter, Tabitha Tuttle and her fiancé Daiman Porter and her two children Kyler and Kaylee and their dad Shawn Kuchera of Lincoln; son, Adam (Cassie) Tuttle of Lincoln; son, Andrew (Kelli) Tuttle and their daughter Maeleigh of Sterling, Alaska; son, Alexander Tuttle and his seven children all of Lincoln; other survivors include her sister, Sher Kopf of Lawrence, KS; brother, Lanthan (Louise) Camblin of Cincinnati, OH; sister, Janet (Craig) Kipper of Lincoln; along with many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Lana was preceded in death by her parents.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be sent to Tabitha Tuttle P.O. Box 5731, Lincoln, NE. 68505 to help pay for Lana Tuttle’s medical expenses.
