Clarence “Scotty” Scott, 87, of Falls City, NE, passed away July 15, 2022 at Falls City. He was born June 4, 1935 at Rulo, NE to Ralph and Azalia “Pete” (Liberty) Scott.
He married Patricia Painter on October 7, 1955 at Falls City
Scotty served in the Nebraska National Guards in Company B at Falls City from 1953 until 1965.
Scotty attended country school and was raised at Rulo and Preston and attended Falls City High School. He moved to Falls City in 1951 and worked for Richardson County, Sidles Mr. Automotive, Harmon’s O. K. Tire and then purchased the milk route and operated Falls City Milk Products. He delivered milk for 14 years before retiring in 1984 due to his health. He was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church, served on the Falls City Volunteer Fire Department from 1967-1987 and was secretary for eleven years. He was also a Boy Scout Leader and former member of the Elks Lodge.
Scotty is survived by his wife, Pat of Falls City, children, Randy and his wife Pam of Falls City, Ann Crosby and her husband Pat of Kansas City, MO, Mike and his wife Cindy of Falls City, grandchildren, Ben, Jason, Joe, Dillion and Avery Scott, great-granddaughters, Parker and Hazel. He was preceded in death by parents and a brother, Lee.
His funeral will be held on Tuesday, July 19, 2022 at 10:30 AM at Bethel United Methodist Church with Pastor Mike Hader officiating. Interment will be in Steele Cemetery. Military graveside honors by Falls City Ceremonial Honor Guard.
The family will receive friends on Monday from 7-8:00 PM at Dorr and Clark Funeral Home.
