Michael was an intelligent, educated person, and was a member of Omicron Delta Kappa, the highest leadership fraternity at UNO. While in school, he received a bachelor’s degree in psychology/sociology and later a master’s degree in social work. Most importantly, he was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.
