Monta A. Wiltse Mackey, 50, of San Antonio, TX, passed away June 11, 2016 at St. Joseph, MO. She was born on May 15, 1966 at Falls City, to Joyce (Kelsay) Wiltse and the late Lawrence Wiltse.
Monta grew up on the family farm in rural Falls City and graduated from Falls City High School in 1984. She received a Bachelor of Science Degree in psychology/sociology from Peru State College and a Master’s Degree in Human Relations for the University of Oklahoma. She married Cliff Mackey in 1988 at Falls City and they were later divorced. She was currently employed at United Behavioral Health of San Antonio. She was a member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church of Falls City.
Survivors include daughter: BreAnna Mackey, of Hiawatha; mother: Joyce Wiltse, of Falls City; brothers: Terry (Jennifer) Wiltse of Falls City, Kevin (Mary) Wiltse, of Falls City; granddaughters: Gabriela and Reyna; nephew: Drew Wiltse and niece: Amie Wiltse.
She was preceded in death by her father and a niece, Kelly Dianne Wiltse.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, June 23, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, with Wanda Biel officiating. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, June 22, 2016 from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Dorr and Clark Funeral Home. Inurnment will be in Williamsville Cemetery.
