Kyle Edward DeLong

Kyle Edward DeLong, 34, of Falls City, Nebraska was born on January 23, 1984, in Falls City, Nebraska to Edward Dale and Anita “Neen” (Miller) DeLong. He grew up in the Falls City area and began his schooling attending grade school at Southeast Consolidated School in Stella shortly before switching to grade school in Falls City. Kyle graduated from Falls City High School with the class of 2002. After high school, he worked for many years as a machinist for Airlanco Company in Falls City. On May 10, 2013, Kyle was united in marriage to Jennifer Pearce in Falls City, Nebraska. To this union two sons, Kayden and Jensen were born. Kyle was a loving father, husband, brother, son, and friend who cherished his family and the time they spent together. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Kyle passed away on Sunday, September 30, 2018, at his home in Falls City having reached the earthly age of thirty-four years, eight months and seven days. He was preceded in death by his grandparents and father Edward DeLong.

Left to cherish Kyle’s memory is his loving wife Jennifer DeLong of Falls City, sons: Kayden and Jensen DeLong of Falls City, his mother Neen DeLong of Falls City, sisters: Shawna Bindle and husband Brian of Falls City, Desir’ee Heaton of Falls City, niece Bailey Bindle of Brownville, NE; nephews: Brody Bindle, Corey Murphy, Tristan Vitale, Nicolas and Isaac Heaton all of Falls City and Drake Kologenski of Savannah, MO; , mother-in-law Susan Pearce of Kansas City, MO; father-in-law Steven Pearce and wife Dawn of Savannah, MO; sisters-in-law: Myranda Murphy of Kansas City, MO; Kaylee Pearce of Savannah, MO; and many other aunts, uncles, relatives and friends.

A Celebration of Kyle’s life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 6, 2018, at the Good News Assembly of God Church, 601 Reavis Street, in Falls City, Nebraska with Reverend Fay Ann Blaylock officiating.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m.- 8 p.m. on Friday, October 5, 2018, at The Hall Funeral Home in Falls City, Nebraska. Family will greet friends from 6-8 p.m.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the Kayden and Jensen DeLong Education Fund.
