RAYMOND STRECKER

Raymond Strecker, 78, of Falls City, passed away Sept. 9, 2015. Raymond was born August 2, 1937 at Falls City to the late Walter and Emma (Scholl) Strecker.
He was raised at Falls City and attended country school.  Following his schooling he was employed by the Coca Cola Bottling Plant in Falls City.  He worked for Frontier Trailer Factory and then worked construction for several companies before retiring from Rogge’s Construction in 2002. He was a member of the Falls City Elks Club and the Nebraska National Guard.
Raymond married Verba Baker on January 16, 1960 at Falls City.
Raymond was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife Verba Strecker, Falls City; daughters, Lori Owens, Sherri Strecker and Robert Fisher, all of Falls City. Grandchildren, Dennis (Kalli) Lockard II; Dylan Lockard; Brandon Gibson; Jessica and Jacie Fisher; and three sisters.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, Sept.14, 2015 at 10:30 AM at Dorr & Clark Funeral Home with the Reverend Paul Weinert officiating. Interment will be in Steele Cemetery. The family will received friends Sunday, Sept. 13, 2015 7:00 – 8:00 PM at Dorr & Clark Funeral Home.
