Carl C. Chandler, Jr., 62, of Lincoln, died Sunday, Nov. 24, 2013.
Born Sept. 15, 1951, Carl was an avid antique collector, a member/Trustee of Rosemont Alliance Church, was awarded Truck Driver of the Year and one million safe miles, and loved his family, cars, and grandchildren.
Carl is survived by his wife, Roxanne; sons, Carl Lynne (Kelly) Chandler, Chad (Jamie) Chandler, Clint (Jamie) Chandler, and Chase Chandler, all of Lincoln; 21 grandchildren; one great grandchild on the way; brothers, Mike (Nancy) Chandler, of Salem, Ronnie (Donna) Chandler, of Falls City, Donnie Chandler, of Alamosa, CO, Bill Chandler, of Lincoln, Kenneth (Inez) Foster, Texas; sister, Joyce (Dave) Armbruster, of Rulo; numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by parents.
A memorial service was held Wednesday, Nov. 27, 2013 at Rosemont Alliance Church.
Memorials to American Cancer Society “Jesse’s Team.” Burial will take place at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 7, 2013 at Maple Cemetery in Salem.
