Jean M. Fryman, 92, died peacefully on Friday, Nov. 15, 2013, under the care of Grace Hospice at Peggy Kelly House, Topeka, KS.
Jean was born in Nemaha County, NE, on Feb. 10, 1921, to Russell D. and Myrtle Yort Speece and lived part of her childhood in Shubert. She then moved to Horton, KS, where she met her husband, Charles Emmett Fryman. They were married for 74 years.
She is survived by her husband, Emmett, Topeka, and their five children, Steve (Ursula), Wichita, Nick, Los Angeles, Judi (Ron) Scheid and Susan (Dennis) Barnes, Topeka, and Tim, Chicago, 11 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
