PATRICK BRENNAN

Patrick L. Brennan, 68, of Falls City, NE passed away June 28, 2016 at St. Joseph, MO. He was born March 5, 1948 at Falls City, NE to the late Dr. L.V. and Maxine (Charbonneau) Brennan.
Raised in Falls City and graduated from Falls City Sacred Heart in 1966. After high school he attended Creighton University and graduated with a degree in history after that he received a certificate in respiratory therapy from KU Medical Center. He married Rita Loyd on Aug. 11, 1973 at Rulo. Following graduation he and Rita moved back to Falls City where he became employed by Community Medical Center and was employed there for 40 years retiring in 2014. He then became employed by Colonial Acres at Humboldt the last two years as a nurse. He was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, the Knights of Columbus and The Falls City Elks Lodge #963.
Patrick is survived by wife Rita Brennan of Falls City; sons, Alex Brennan of Falls City, Nick Brennan of New York City, NY, Luke (Amy) Brennan of St. Joseph; brothers, Terry Brennan of Falls City, Michael Brennan of Clearwater, FL; two grandchildren, Noah and Olivia.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Dick.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, July 2, 2016 at 10:30 AM at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church with Father Thomas Dunavan as the presiding priest. Interment will be in Falls City Catholic Cemetery.
A Parish Rosary will be recited on Friday at 8:00 p.m. at Dorr and Clark Funeral Home. Family will receive friends following the rosary. Family has requested memorials to go to Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church or to the Falls City Sacred Heart School.
