Ronald D. Neeld, 54, of Spring Hill, KS, passed away Monday, April 28, 2014 at the Olathe Medical Center.
Ronald was born Nov. 14, 1959 at the Miami County Hospital in Paola, KS. He graduated from SM Northwest High School in Shawnee, KS, 1978. He joined the railroad as soon as he graduated and worked for SLSF/BNSF Railway for 36 years and was presently employed and injured on the job. Ronnie has always cared very much and called every evening to check on his parents, which showed his love for them.
He’s survived by his parents, W. Lucille and James D. of Lenexa, KS; a brother, James F. Neeld, of Keller, TX; sisters, Carolyn Putnum of Emporia, KS, Kay (Gene) Dean, of Olathe, KS and Margie Davis, of Keller,TX; and many loving nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in death was his sister, Debra.
Funeral Services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday May 2, 2014 in the Porter Funeral Home Chapel, Lenexa, KS. Graveside Service will follow at 2 p.m. in the Steele Cemetery at Falls City.
Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Thursday May 1, 2014 at the Porter Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers the family suggest contributions to Wayside Waifs.
Dorr and Clark Funeral Home, of Falls City, is in charge of local arrangements.
