STEPHEN L. LANGLEY

Stephen L. Langley, 58, of Falls City, died Wednesday, May 14, 2014 in Falls City. He was born April 10, 1956 at Zanesville, OH, to Lily (Cornell) Langley and the late Otis Langley.

    Steve married Mary Fryer on March 16, 1990 at Hiawatha, KS.

    He was raised in the White Cloud, KS area and graduated high school at Lake Havasu, AZ, in 1975. Following graduation he returned to Zanesville and worked at a meat processing plant. In 1980 he moved to Moberly, MO, and worked in a coal mine. He moved back to White Cloud in 1988.

    The couple established their home in White Cloud and moved to Falls City in 1991. He was employed at the Mickelberry plant. He retired in 1996 due to his health.

    Steve is survived by his wife; sons, Adam Wickham, of Ohio, and Christopher Langley, of Missouri; daughter, Mary Jo Munoz, of Missouri; mother, Lily Besser, of Zanesville; stepmother, Linda Langley, of White Cloud; brothers, Keith and Otis Langley, of White Cloud; sisters, Teresa, Amy and Virginia Langley, all of White Cloud; five grandchildren.

    He was preceded in death by his father and a sister, Pamela Langley.

    The body of Mr. Langley has been cremated and services will be held at a later date.

    Dorr & Clark Funeral Home, of Falls City, is in charge of arrangements.
