Glenn Rider, 57, of Falls City, NE, passed away December 3, 2020, at Lincoln, NE. He was born March 20, 19623, in Falls City, to George and LeVera (Schneidewing) Rider.
He married Joyce Vogt and they were later divorced.
Glenn was raised at Falls City and graduated from Falls City High School in 1981. Following graduation, he helped on the family farm, then worked for Woodings Verona and finally became employed at Pamida, working at various stores in Nebraska, Iowa and South Dakota. He retired due to his health. He was a member of First United Methodist Church.
Glenn is survived by his children, Kenny and Jennifer Rider, both of Falls City, half-sister Wylene Picton of Falls City, niece, Anne Brittell of Falls City and a nephew, Brian Rider of Trimble, MO.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Larry and Charles.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday, December 9, 2020, at 10:30 AM at First United Methodist Church, with Reverend Young Je Kim officiating. Inurnment will be at Verdon Cemetery.
Masks are required. The service will be livestreamed on Dorr and Clark Funeral Home’s Facebook page.
