Linda Nadine Lovenburg Junker, 58, of Falls City, NE, passed away July 5, 2019. She was born January 4, 1961 to Jack and Doretta (Powell) Lovenburg in Alma, NE.
She graduated from Southeast Consolidated High School in Stella in 1979. She received a degree in Psychology and Social Work from Peru State College in 1996. She worked as a substance abuse counselor and children’s advocate in Nebraska, Kansas and Missouri for over 20 years. Linda enjoyed camping, photography, traveling and spoiling her grandchildren. Linda was a member of the First United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Mark Junker, father, Jack Lovenburg, a brother Troy Lovenburg and his wife Donna, a sister, Wendy Craig and her husband Robbie, her sons Jay Lovenburg and his partner Melissa Walker, Joshua Choate and his partner Trisha Ogden and her daughter Jenni Choate and her partner Jason Romano all of Falls City as well as six grandchildren, three nephews and a niece. She was predeceased by her mother.
Her funeral will be held on Wednesday, July 10, 2019 at 10:30 AM at First United Methodist Church with Pastor Young Je Kim officiating. Interment will be in Steele Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 7-8:00 PM at Dorr and Clark Funeral Home.
