Jeffrey “Jeff” Ogden, 50, of Rulo, passed away December 12, 2018 at Rulo. He was born October 8, 1968 in Falls City to Louis and Shirley (Nitzsche) Ogden.
Jeff was raised in Rulo and graduated Falls City High School in 1986. After graduation he attended the Police Academy at Hutchinson, KS and then worked as an Iowa Tribal Officer. He then took employment at Wilde Tool in Hiawatha, KS and then Armstrong Cabinet Factory in Auburn and finally at Van Tech Industries at Falls City.
He married Linda Petersen on July 4, 2007 in Lincoln.
He was forced to retire due to his health in 2012. He was a member of the Prairie Band Potawatomi Nation.
Jeff is survived by his wife, Linda of Rulo, sons, Stephen and his fiancé Sydney Tisdel of Dawson, Ty and his fiance Natasha Rowland of Falls City, Tomee Ogden of Rulo, two sisters, and grandchildren, Zachery, Kenzleigh, Carter and Megan. He was preceded in death by his parents and twin siblings in infancy.
His funeral was held on Monday, December 17, 2018 at 3:00 PM at Dorr and Clark Funeral Home with Pastor Showalter officiating. The family received friends one hour prior to service time at Dorr and Clark Funeral Home. Cremation to follow with private inurnment at a later date at Rulo Cemetery.
