Joan Marie Randall, 81, of Falls City, passed away Feb. 11, 2018 in Falls City. She was born Aug. 7, 1936 at Falls City to Roy and Matilda (Portrey) Milburn. Joan was raised in Falls City and attended Falls City Sacred Heart High School.
She married the love of her life Elmer Randall, Jr. on November 15, 1953 at Hiawatha, KS. When married the couple established their home in Falls City. She was a devoted homemaker who cared deeply for her family and a fabulous party planner. Once her children were raised she worked at Ketter Manor for 15 years and later moved to White Cloud, KS to be near Elmer’s mother whom she helped care for. They moved to their current home in Sept. of 2016. She was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church.
Joan is survived by her husband, Elmer of Falls City, children, Debra Faller and her husband Steve of Kansas City, MO, William and his wife Jolana of Falls City, Linda Schuetz and her husband David of Preston, brother, Larry Milburn and his wife Dianne of Lincoln, sisters, Elizabeth Jettner of Lincoln, Ruth Paulson of Omaha, seven grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews she loved dearly.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, Barbara Joan in infancy and a brother, Donald Milburn.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, February 15, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church with Father Thomas Dunavan officiating. Cremation will follow. A Parish Rosary will be recited on Wednesday at 7:30 PM at Dorr and Clark Funeral Home with family receiving friends afterwards.
