Reed Louis Schwartz, 47, of Lincoln, passed away at home on June 8, 2016. Born June 2, 1969 in Falls City, Nebraska to Henry Peter Louis and Marcia Ann (Hinton) Schwartz. Served as 1st Lt. in the U. S. Navy. Reed was a school teacher and coach for Ashland-Greenwood High School from 1998-2016. A member of Messiah Lutheran Church, UNL Alumni Association and Sigma Chi fraternity.
Family members include his wife, Deborah Jean (Javorsky) Schwartz; daughter, Lucinda Jane Schwartz; brother, Lance Schwartz, all of Lincoln and his parents Henry and Marcia Schwartz of Falls City, NE.
Funeral Service: 10:30 a.m. Monday (6-13-16) Messiah Lutheran Church, 1800 South 84th Street with Pastor John Kunze officiating.
Memorials to the family for future designation.
Visitation: 2-8 p.m. Sunday with family present from 6-8 p.m. at Roper and Sons, 4300 ‘O’ Street and one hour prior to service time at the church.
