Mary “Lynne” Lent, 72, of Oak Ridge, NC, formerly of St. Joseph, MO, passed away Tuesday, April 26, 2016. She was born Feb. 4, 1944 in St. Joseph.
Lynne married Larry Glen Lent on Oct. 23, 1962. She was a payroll supervisor at Affiliated Foods for 30 years and a member of the of Beta Sigma Phi sorority and Oak Ridge United Methodist Church. She enjoyed gardening, flowers and spending time with her grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband, Larry; son, Michael Lent; daughter, Michelle (Eric) Brown; mother, Marjorie (Timberlake) Cramer; two sisters, Marsha Brennan and Marliss (Joe) Miller; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Jiles Cramer; and daughter, Vickie Lynne Lent.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, May 2, at Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory, St. Joseph. Interment at Cowan Cemetery, New Point, MO. Donations may be made in lieu of flowers to the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation.
