RONALD ‘RON’ SANDER

Ronald “Ron” James Sander, 71, of St. Joseph, MO, passed away Friday, Dec. 11, 2015 at Mosaic Life Care. He was born Oct. 26, 1944 in Falls City, son of W.T. “Ted” and Selma (Reynolds) Sander.
He Graduated from Falls City High School and Northwest Missouri State University. Ron retired from a career in sales in 2006. He enjoyed photography and bird-watching, and was an avid fan of the Chiefs, Royals, and NASCAR. Ron was a life-long Methodist. He married Patricia (Thrasher) in 1969. He was a loving father and grandfather and will be dearly missed.
Ron is preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by include: wife, Patricia Sander of St. Joseph; sons, Michael (Bridgette) Sander and  Mark Sander, both of St. Joseph; daughter, Michelle Sander of Salt Lake City, Utah; two grandchildren: Wade Sander and Madlin Sander; sister, Carole Lee (Donald) and husband Gerdes formerly of Falls City and now of Harlingen, TX; nieces, Cindy (Gerdes) Mallonee, and Kristin (Gerdes) and husband Frank Hayes of Harlingen, TX; and numerous great and great-great nieces and nephews.  
The family will receive friends from 4:00-7:00 P.M. Wednesday, Dec. 16, 2015, at the Rupp Funeral Home in St. Joseph, MO. Memorials are suggested to Second Harvest.
