      SEVENTH MAN.The Lady Tigers enjoy home court advantage like no other, with a loud and boisterous student section behind them. The guys’ vocal chords will get put to the test down the stretch, too, as FC plays at home five of its final seven regular season dates prior to districts, beginning tonight against Conestoga. The FCHS Invite is Saturday and the Lady Tigers host St. Joseph Lafayette next Tuesday. (RIGHT) FC junior Alyssa Frederick recorded 17 kills, scored eight points — four on ace serves — and had a team-high seven blocks in her team’s 25-20, 20-25, 25-21 win over Horton, KS, last Thursday in Hiawatha. FCHS senior Libby Bauman had a team-best nine kills and five blocks in a 25-14, 25-13 victory over Johnson CC Saturday in Tecumseh.
    FC lost in two to now 15-3 Exeter-Milligan and also to 6-8 NC Lourdes, for the second time this season. The Lady Tigers, after winning a school-record 22 matches and coming within a whisker of advancing to the state tournament for the first time in school history last fall, are just 5-14 on the 2015 season.
