Mary Ann Chesnut, 86, of Reserve, KS, died Saturday evening, March 21, 2015, at Falls City Healthcare Community.
She married James E. Chesnut, Sr., at Selma, AL, on Aug. 21, 1944. He died in 1995. She was also preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Sondra Semon; three sisters and infant brothers.
Survivors include a daughter, Judith Maddocks, of Chester, England; two sons, James Chesnut, Jr., of Reserve, and Larry Chesnut, of Falls City; sister, Lottie Josang, of Visalia, CA; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.
Services are planned for 10 a.m. Saturday, March 28, at Chapel Oaks Funeral Home in Hiawatha, with Pastor Karla Shafer officiating. Burial will be at Mt. Hope Cemetery, Hiawatha. Friends may call at the funeral home after 10 a.m. Friday, where the family will meet from 7-8 that evening.
