Joseph R. Edwards, 82, of Lincoln, passed away on July 12, 2014. He was born June 9, 1932 in Stella to Harold and I. Pearl (Moody) Edwards.
He grew up in the Stella area and graduated from Stella High School in 1950. Joe was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War and was the Company Commander of the National Guard unit in Falls City during the early 1960’s. He farmed in the area after returning from the service and moved to Lincoln in the 1970’s.
Memorial services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 9, 2014 at Roper & Sons Funeral Home in Lincoln.
