Arlene E. Miller, 88, of Rulo, died Thursday, May 8, 2014 in Lincoln. She was born June 9, 1925 near Arago, to the late Henry and Anna (Meinzer) Scholl.
She married Fred Miller on Nov. 3, 1940 in Oregon, MO.
Arlene was raised in the Arago area and when married the couple established their home in Arago. She was a homemaker and farm wife her entire life.
She is survived by her son, James (Judy) Miller, of Falls City; one granddaughter; three great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; great-nephew, Vernon Buckminster, of Rulo; great-niece, Elaine Craig, of Falls City.
Arlene was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brothers, Herman, Elmer and Paul Scholl; sisters, Marie Vardano, Dorothy Robertson, Esther Candless and Lucille Thompson
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 13, 2014 at Dorr and Clark Funeral Home with Rev. Paul Weinert officiating. Interment will be in Rulo Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7-8 p.m. Monday at Dorr and Clark Funeral Home.
