Marcille H. Schlereth, 86, of Falls City, passed away Nov. 6, 2013. She was born Aug. 30, 1927 at Falls City to the late Albert and Amelia (Schulenberg) Zentner.
On Oct. 14, 1947 she married Charles H. Schlereth at Falls City. He passed away Dec. 25, 2001.
Marcille was raised in Falls City and graduated from FC High School in 1945. During high school she became employed for Jean Cain at Falls City Savings & Loan; she continued in banking for 50 years and retired from First Federal Lincoln as Vice-President in 1993. She was a member of Christ Lutheran Church, Business and Professional Women, VFW Auxiliary all of Falls City and was a blood donor and delivered meals on wheels.
Marcille is survived by her son, Michael, of Lincoln; daughter, Barb (David) Goltz, of Falls City; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sisters, Evelyn Strauss, Violet Gardner, brother, Marvin Zentner.
Funeral services were held Saturday, Nov. 9, 2013 at Christ Lutheran Church with Rev. Daniel Gifford officiating. Interment in Steele Cemetery.
Dorr and Clark Funeral Home, of Falls City, was in charge of arrangements.
