William “Bill” Schuetz, 75, of Dawson, died Wednesday, Sept. 11, 2013, at Falls City. He was born Feb. 2, 1938, at Rulo to Theodore G. and Lena R. (Durfee) Schuetz.
Bill married Joyce A. Dishong on March 16, 1972 at Wakeeney, KS. She passed away May 8, 2009. The couple first established their home in Falls City and later moved to Dawson. He was a residential and commercial painter until he retired; he also owned the Cab Company while living in Falls City.
Bill is survived by his brother, Frank (Norma) Schuetz, of Hiawatha, KS; and a sister, Jo Ann (Marvin) Massey, of Robinson, KS.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, a sister, Susie Elliott, and two brothers, Eugene and James Schuetz.
The body of Mr. Schuetz has been cremated and a memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 21, 2013 at Dorr and Clark Funeral Home. Inurnment in Steele Cemetery.
