Angela Gail Husing, 48, of Las Colinas, TX, died Monday, July 22, 2013, at Baylor Regional Medical Center, Grapevine, TX.
The daughter of C.E. “Buddy” and Diana Pearl (Bradley) Husing, Angela was born July 14, 1965, in Fairfax, MO. She graduated from Rock Port High School in 1983.
She married Michael Avrett in 1981 and they were later divorced.
Angela later moved to the Dallas, TX, area and was employed at the YMCA as an Emergency Services Training Director in Las Colinas, TX.
Survivors include children, Tasha (Ryan) Quimby, of Maryville, MO, Chris (Bonnie) Avrett, of Tarkio, MO, and Ashlyn Annis, Coppell; mother, Diana Husing and significant other, Paul Platter, of Shubert; father, C.E “Buddy” Husing and wife, Pam, Rock Port; five grandchildren; brother, Travis (Sarah) Husing, of Maryville; two nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, July 31, 2013 at the First Christian Church in Rock Port. Interment at English Grove Cemetery, Fairfax. Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Minter Funeral Chapel, Rock Port, where the family will receive friends that evening from 6-7.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Angela Husing Memorial Fund.
