Esther Lois Quigley, 85, of Belleville, KS, passed away Sunday, July 21, at the Republic County Hospital in Belleville.
She was born Dec. 13, 1927 at Reserve, KS, to Ralph and Della Faye (Adams) Heiniger.
Lois graduated from Reserve High School in 1946 and married William W. Quigley on May 31, 1950 in Falls City. Lois enjoyed being a homemaker, making sure the needs of her family were met. She also enjoyed sewing and gardening. Lois was a member of the Central Christian Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents and several siblings.
Lois is survived by her husband; son, Bill (Judy), of Salina, KS; daughters, Carol (Brian) Calkins, Milford, Joyce (Ernie), Craig, CO, Constance Quigley and friend Rick Colaluca, of Driftwood, TX; eight grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; sister, Louise Heiniger, Fairview, KS; other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Friday, July 26, 2013 at Tibbetts-Fischer Funeral Home in Belleville, with Pastor Mark Imel officiating. Committal and burial was held Friday afternoon at Steele Cemetery in Falls City.
