Dorothy P. Kratz, 99, formerly of Falls City, passed away on Tuesday, July 9, 2013, in Lincoln.
She was born in Logan Township, KS, on Nov. 26, 1913.
Dorothy received her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Nebraska and her Master’s degree from the University of Colorado. She taught in Columbus and at Falls City High School for about 30 years.
Dorothy will be missed by her five children, Betty Klaus Prieto, Judy Klaus Boone, Janet Klaus Gibson, David Klaus and Peter Kommer, as well as 11 grandchildren. She was also proud of her many great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Goldie Fischer Sandrock and George Sandrock, two brothers, Homer and Kenneth Sandrock, a sister, Helen Sandrock Grill, a son, Joe Klaus Jr. and a grandson, Stephen Kommer in infancy.
Services have been held in Lincoln. Dorothy will be interred in Steele Cemetery in Falls City.
