Kathy Bartek, of Falls City, has been selected as the recipient for UNL East Campus Bull Fry Event April 13.

Six SE Community College students – three originally from Richardson County – will be honored as members of the 2013 Phi Theta Kappa All-Nebraska Academic Team during a ceremony April 10 at the Cornhusker Marriott Hotel in Lincoln.

Falls City’s Spring Community Clean Up event will be held Saturday, April 20, from 8:00 a.m. to noon.

As many of you know (or knew I should say), the Falls City Journal’s website was down from mid-September of last year until just recently (March 10th to be exact). There are a cornucopia of reasons for the prolonged absence, but I will save you the trouble and get to the nuts and bolts of why. We’ll come back to this.
