Frances R. Sells, 79, of Rulo, NE, passed away December 29, 2021 at Rulo. She was born August 14, 1942 in Salem, NE to Frank and Lucille (Hall) Ruch.
She married Jackie Sells on August 2, 1962 at Rulo. He passed away November 27, 2020
Frances was raised in Rulo and graduated Reserve High School in 1960. She then attended business school in Omaha and learned the telegraph, moving to New York and working for Western Union. She returned to Rulo and when married the couple established their home in Rulo. She worked at Falls City Care Center until she became a fulltime homemaker. She enjoyed raising her children, reading and gardening and was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.
Frances is survived by her children, Deanna Peck of Rulo, Terri Deters of Ozawkie, KS, John and his wife Laurie of Rulo, Amanda Hopper and her husband Eric of Dawson, NE, brothers, Don Bently and his wife Sue of Texas, Billy Ruch of Salt Lake City, UT, six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a brother, Dick and a brother-in-law, Paul Sells.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, January 3, 2022 at 10:30 AM at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with Father David Oldham as the presiding priest.
Interment will be in Immaculate Conception Catholic Church Cemetery.
A Parish Rosary will be recited on Sunday at 4:00 PM at Dorr and Clark Funeral Home with the family receiving friends afterwards.
