Ralph James Martineau (a.k.a. Jim, Jimmy, Marty, Jimbo, Dad, Daddy, Poppy, Popoola, Daddio, Fred, Uncle Jim) was born July 22, 1938.
He is survived by his wife Deborah Martineau and his children: Jeff Martineau, Robbie Martineau, Lynette Martineau, Ember Hughes and Cassie Martineau. In his deep love for his family, he is survived by his youngest brother Jerry Martineau and wife Mary Martineau, numerous nieces, and nephews as well as nine grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren.
He was proceeded in death by his parents, his son Lance Martineau, and granddaughter Cally Martineau.
He recently said, “Life is building blocks of anything of significance that happens to you becomes part of you.”
A true legacy is having a presence when you’re not present. Ralph certainly has created this legacy by touching everyone he encountered with love and kindness. He was a fisherman, a coffee lover, and a man of integrity. He passed on June 27, 2021, in Tulsa, OK and he will be greatly missed.
There will be a grave side service will be held July, 31 at 10:00 a.m., Maple Cemetery in Salem, Nebraska.
