Jolene Claire Tomek, 82, formerly of rural Dawson, Nebraska was born on August 29, 1938, in Burlington, Kansas to Joseph C. and Ellen G. (Pecka) Tomek. Jolene was raised on the family farm near Burlington, Kansas and where she received all of her schooling there. She later moved with her family to a farm east of Dawson, Nebraska. Jolene was a homemaker all of her life where she attended to the daily chores of the farm and taking care of her parents and brother.
Jolene passed away on Tuesday, November 3, 2020, at the Falls City Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Falls City, Nebraska having reached the earthly age of 82 years, 2 months and 5 days.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother Robert Tomek. She is survived by her cousins and many friends.
Graveside Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 11, 2020, at the Heim Cemetery in Dawson, Nebraska with Pastor Eric Biehl officiating.
Visitation will be held from 9 a.m.-5p.m. on Tuesday, November 10, 2020, at the Wherry Mortuary, 207 N. Nemaha Street in Humboldt, Nebraska.
Memorial contributions may be given to the family with a later designation.
