Barbara (Bobbie) L. Wilson, daughter of Anne Mary Stewart was born in Omaha, NE on March 4, 1935.
Bobbie was raised all over and as young woman she was united in marriage to David B. Wilson on March 19, 1954 in Jefferson City, MO. Together they raised three children.
David worked for the railroad which brought the family to Falls City, NE. They made their home in Falls City where they have lived for the past thirty-two years.
Bobbie and her husband are members of the Assembly of God Church in Falls City. Anyone who knows Bobbie will remember her for her love of the color purple and of the Looney Tunes character Tweety Bird.
Due to ill health Bobbie was taken to the St. Elizabeth Hospital in Lincoln, NE. It is there that on Wednesday, July 22, 2015. Bobbie passed. She had reached the age of 80 years, 4 months and 18 days.
She is survived by her husband David B. Wilson of Falls City, NE; children David Wilson Jr. and wife Joanne of Funk, NE; Brenda Judy and husband Daniel of Deshler, NE; Leetta Hafner of Kearney, NE; 9 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
A memorial service for Bobbie Wilson will be held Saturday, August 22, at 10:30 a.m. at the Good News Assembly of God Church in Falls City.
There will be nothing held at the funeral home.
