Frederick William Liebsch, Sr., 70, of Larimore, ND, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 3, 2015 at the Veteran Affairs Medical Center in Fargo, ND. He was born on Feb. 23, 1944 in Falls City to Frederick N. and Evelyn (Hollens) Liebsch.
He served 22 years in the U.S. Air Force as a crash rescue firefighter and retired as a Technical Sergeant. Fred and his family moved to the Larimore area in 1988.
He is survived by his wife, YuKi Liebsch, of Larimore; son, Fred (Erica) Liebsch, Jr.; daughter, Nancy (Joshua) Thompson, Larimore; granddaughter, Emmalyn Liebsch; and sister, Marian Vernon, of Falls City.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Joan Palyas and Elaine Ramer; and stepfather, Luderick Tasa.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, Feb. 10, 2015 in Larimore with military honors.
