Nebraska Public Media channels now streaming free on Amazon Prime Video

Nebraska Public Media is now streaming two of its five television channels for free on Amazon Prime Video.

The Nebraska Public Media channel and the PBS KIDS 24/7 channel are now being offered as Prime Video channels accessible through Prime Video and Fire TV. Non-Prime users can also stream the channels for free under the “Watch for Free” section within Prime Video at amazon.com/gp/video/livetv.

The broadcasts are geo-fenced, meaning only users in the Nebraska Public Media service area will have access to the channels.

Viewers can watch these two channels as they are broadcast live on television. Program coverage includes local high school, collegiate and professional sports, “Backyard Farmer,” Nebraska Stories,” and “Big Red Wrap-Up,” along with PBS favorites including “PBS News Hour,” “FRONTLINE,” “Antiques Roadshow” and “Masterpiece.” The PBS KIDS 24/7 channel offers popular children’s programming, including “Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood,” “Alma’s Way,” “Wild Kratts” and more.

Nebraska Public Media also makes four of its five television channels available on the free Nebraska Public Media App at NebraskaPublicMedia.org/apps and on its website at NebraskaPublicMedia.org/live.

PBS, PBS KIDS, and Nebraska Public Media content is also available on PBS.org and pbskids.org, as well as the PBS App and PBS KIDS app available on iOS, Android, Roku, Apple TV, Amazon Fire TV, Chromecast and smart TVs from Samsung, Xumo and VIZIO.
