Richard Eugene Frederick was born on April 9, 1933. He passed away at age of 89 on February 12, 2023 peacefully at the Genoa Nursing Home in Genoa, NE. Richard was born in Falls City, NE to Alice and Charles Frederick. He graduated High School from Rulo, NE. He served in the U.S. Army and was stationed in Korea. On May 16, 1953 Richard married Marjorie “Darlene” Mullins and they had three children together. Linda Auxier (Waverly, NE), Patricia Peterson (Aurora, NE) and Rick Frederick (Sabetha, KS).
He had six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Richard had two brothers and three sisters. Brothers Edward Frederick and Bill Frederick both from Falls City NE, sisters Delores Jackson (Topeka, KS), Charleen McCormick (Neosho, MO)and Ruth Mullins (Salem, NE). Edward, Delores, Darlene and Patricia preceded him in death.
Richard spent most of his life in the Falls City area where he farmed and raised livestock. He
also custom hauled livestock for a lot of the local farmers. There will be a private (family) Mass held for Richard at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Sabetha on Saturday the 18th of February at 10:30 a.m. He will be buried at the Omaha National Cemetery.
