Robert E. Steele, III, 67, of Falls City, NE, passed away September 27, 2022 at Topeka, KS. He was born October 7, 1954 at Falls City to Robert E. and Frances (Bacon) Steele, Jr.
Robert was raised at Falls City and graduated from Falls City High School in 1972. He then went on to attend Doane College and graduated in 1976 with a business degree.
Following graduation he worked for Higains CB Manufacturing in Lincoln and Omaha, then moved to Colorado Springs, CO where he did accounting work for four years. He then moved to Las Vegas where he started his own accounting business and four years after retiring he moved back to Falls City in 2019. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church at Falls City.
Robert is survived by his brother, Karl of Falls City.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
His funeral was held on Monday, October 3, 2022 at 1:00 PM at Dorr and Clark Funeral Home with Reverend Rick Martin officiating. Interment will be in Steele Cemetery.
Open visitation began Saturday afternoon until 5:00 PM and on Sunday from noon until 5:00 PM. Friends may sign the guest book during regular business hours.
