Claudia Grace Gebhart, 73, of Olathe, KS passed away Feb. 12, 2019 at Evergreen Community of Johnson County. Claudia was born July 25, 1945, in Falls City, NE where she grew up.
She married Clifford “Ike” Mackey. After their divorce, she lived in Gardner and Kansas City, KS. Claudia married Oliver “Conrad” Gebhart on Dec. 23, 1986, in Hiawatha, KS. After her marriage to Conrad, they lived in Oregon, MO. They moved to Olathe in 2009 to be near family. She worked as a daycare director and enjoyed volunteering. Claudia enjoyed watching the KC Chiefs and Royals and baking hot rolls, especially cinnamon rolls. Spending time with family was a special pass time–grandkids called her “Grandma Truck” because she always drove a truck when they were little. She will be dearly missed by family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Grace Tramm; her husband, Conrad, in Dec. 2018; son, Jeffery Scott Mackey and sister, JoAnn Sawyer. Claudia is survived by her daughter, Dawn and husband Ronnie Cole, Princeton, KS; siblings: Donna Huffman, Edgerton, KS, Johnny and wife Dee Tramm, Rogers, AR and Patrick and wife Tamera Tramm, Gardner, KS; four grandchildren: Tyler, Derek, Jasmine, and Christopher and nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wed., Feb. 20, 2019, with Funeral 11:00 am Thurs., Feb. 21, 2019 both at Bruce Funeral Home, 106 S. Center, Gardner, KS (913) 856-7111. Graveside follows service at 1:30 pm Leavenworth National Cemetery, Leavenworth, KS where she will be laid to rest with her husband. Memorial contributions may be made to Evergreen Hospice.
