Nona Lee Oberst Faller, 91, passed away on November 27, 2018. She was born on March 9, 1927, to Herman Fred and Beulah Ruth Zoeller Oberst. She was raised and lived in rural Falls City until retiring to Falls City in 1988. She moved to Lincoln five years ago.
She married Sterling W. Faller in 1948; They farmed near the Kansas state line. She lost the love of her life in 2007 after 59 years of marriage.
She loved traveling, shopping trips to St. Joseph and Omaha for unique and colorful clothing bargains. She was an avid gardener, pots of petunias, her specialty.
She is survived by her sister Jean Bowers, Harker Heights, Texas; daughter Cindy (Joe) Harris, Albuquerque, NM; son Jeff (Janis) Faller, Lincoln, NE; grandchildren Aly (Shawn) Carlson, Sutton, Ne; Andy (Kiley) Faller. Lincoln; and great-grandchildren Owynn and Ezra Carlson; Russo and Fitz Faller, nieces and nephews.
