George “Dennis” Moore, 69, of Des Moines, IA, passed away Dec. 8, 2016. He was born Sept. 29, 1947 in Falls City to George and Cleo Moore.
He graduated from Falls City High School in 1966 and earned a Bachelor’s Degree from Northwest Missouri State in 1970. Dennis worked as an architect in Omaha and in Des Moines.
He is survived by his niece, Meg Hawks, of Omaha; and a nephew, Tom (Alice) Gildersleeve, of Coconut Creek, FL.
Dennis was preceded in death by his parents; and sister and brother-in-law, Patricia and Hal Gildersleeve.
Dennis will be cremated and laid to rest with his parents in Wyuka Cemetery in Lincoln. No services are planned. Memorials to the Animal Rescue League of Des Moines or the Nebraska Humane Society of Omaha. Hamilton’s Funeral Home, of Des Moines, is in charge of arrangements.
