William W. Quigley, 85, of Belleville, KS, passed away on Jan. 29, 2016 at Manhattan, KS. He was born in Falls City on Feb. 26, 1928 to Howard and Ruth Sailors Quigley.
After graduating from Falls City High School in 1946, Bill served a tour of duty with the U.S. Army. He and Lois Hennifer were married in Reserve, KS, on May 31, 1950. Lois passed away on July 21, 2013.
He is survived by his daughters, Carol (Brian) Calkins, of Milford, KS, Joyce (Ernie) Allen, of Craig, CO, Constance Quigley, of Driftwood, TX; daughter-in-law, Judy Quigley, of Salina, KS; brother, Landon (Doris) Quigley, of Shawnee, KS; sisters, Avalene Jordan, of Bend, OR, Marvel Karst, of Montebello, CA, and Jean Campbell, of Falls City; nine grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; son, Bill; and brothers, James, Arthur, Guy and Milan; and a sister, Eunice Wamsley.
Graveside services will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, April 15, 2016 at Steele Cemetery.
Dorr and Clark Funeral Home, Falls City, is in charge of arrangements.
