HARVEY FREDERICK

Harvey Frederick, 73, of Rulo,  passed away March 31, 2016. He was born, July 5, 1942 at Sun Rise, WY to the late Paul and Norma (Simmonds) Frederick.
   Harvey was raised in Rulo and graduated from Reserve High School in 1960. On Sept. 25, 1960 he married Beverly Barber at Reserve, KS. When married the couple established their home in Rulo and have lived there since. He worked for Frontier Trailer Factory for several years and then became employed at Sunset Campers. He worked for the Iowa Tribe of Kansas and Nebraska for 27 years before retiring in 2009. Harvey served on the Tribal executive committee for over 20 years. He was an avid hunter and fisherman.
   He was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and the Iowa Tribe of Kansas and Nebraska.
   He is survived by his wife: Beverly Frederick of Rulo; sons: Jeff (Michele) Frederick of Rulo; Mike (Cherie) Frederick of Falls City; sister: Donna Kelley of Rulo; 10 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
   He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Tony and brothers, Paul and Earl.
   Services will be held on Monday, April 4, 2016 at 2:00 PM at Dorr and Clark Funeral Home with Father David Oldham officiating. A Parish Rosary will be recited on Sunday at 7:30 PM at Dorr and Clark Funeral Home. Interment will be in Rulo Cemetery.
