Kenneth P. Wittrock, 87, of Falls City, passed away Saturday, Dec. 19, 2015 at Falls City. He was born on Sept. 28, 1928 at Falls City to the late Reuben and Johanna (Krueger) Wittrock.
Kenneth was raised at Falls City and graduated from FC High School in 1946. He was then drafted into U. S. Army at Ft. Leonard Wood, MO. Following his discharge, he returned to Falls City and farmed. He also was employed in various fields within the agriculture community his entire life.
He married Elaine Fisher at Hiawatha, KS, on April 1, 1982.
Kenneth was a member of St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 20th and Towle Streets.
He is survived by his wife, of FC; son, Roger Wittrock, of Milford; step-children, Robert (Joni) Bruhn, Bill (Joan) Bruhn, all of Beatrice, and Kate (Donnie) Sells, of Rulo; brother, Fred (Marian) Wittrock, of Humboldt; sister, Kathryn Thomas, of Falls City; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 22, 2015 at Dorr and Clark Funeral Home, with Rev. Andrew Chavanak officiating. Interment at Steele Cemetery, with military graveside honors by the Falls City Ceremonial Honor Guard.
Open visitation will begin Monday afternoon at the funeral home.
