Lorene Becker, 90, of Falls City, passed away Monday, Nov. 17, 2014. She was born Nov. 20, 1923 at Falls City to the late Louis and Emelie (Herbster) Becker.
Lorene was raised in rural Falls City and attended rural schools. Following her schooling she helped her mother in and around the homestead. She was a lifetime resident of Richardson County. She was confirmed at St. John’s Lutheran Church.
She was a member of St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 20th and Towle Sts.
Lorene is survived by a sister, Edna Witt, of Falls City; nephews and nieces.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Arlene Becker; brothers, Raymond, Walter, Marvin, Richard and Elmer Becker.
Her funeral will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Nov. 21, 2014 at St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, with Rev. Andrew Chavanak officiating. Interment will be in Steele Cemetery. Open visitation will begin Thursday at Dorr & Clark Funeral Home in Falls City.
