Lyal Wayne Walker, 68, of Lincoln, passed away Thursday, Nov. 13, 2014 at Bryan LGH West in Lincoln. He was was born June 13, 1946 in Falls City to Lyal Walker and Enid Almina (White) Walker. Lyal ‘Wayne’ Walker, 68 of Lincoln, passed away Thursday, Nov. 13, 2014 at Bryan LGH West.
Wayne was directly cremated and a graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday May 30, at the Prairie Union Cemetery near Shubert
He is survived by his children, Robin, Scott and Johnathan (Georgianna) Walker, of Lincoln; sister, Collette Tutty, of Twin Falls, ID; nephew, Jeremy (Kandis) Tutty, and niece, Erin (Karl) Tettitt; other relatives and friends.
Wayne’s family moved from Falls City to Lincoln when he was a boy. He attended school in Lincoln and graduated from Lincoln High School. He enlisted in the Nebraska Army National Guard. Wayne worked security for the Pinkerton Company for many years.
He is survived by his children, Robin, Scott and Johnathan (Georgianna) Walker, all of Lincoln; sister, Collette Tutty, of Twin Falls, ID; nephew, Jeremy (Kandis) Tutty; niece, Erin (Karl) Tettitt; grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
Wayne was preceded in death by his parents; and one sister, Jerri Lynn Walker.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday May 30, at the Prairie Union Cemetery near Shubert.
Hall Funeral Chapel, of Auburn, is in charge of arrangements.
