VIVIAN M. ZEIGLER

Vivian M. Zeigler, 78, of Falls City, passed away Sunday, July 13, 2014 at Falls City. She was born July 8, 1936 at Falls City to the late Albert “Pat” and Edna (Holsclaw) McIlvain.

On Jan. 20, 1955 she married Robert Zeigler at Hiawatha, KS. Vivian was raised at Falls City and graduated from Falls City High School in 1954. The couple established their home in Falls City when married and she worked various jobs before she and Bob purchased Salem Meat Locker at Salem. She then worked at Yesterday’s Closet and retired in 2008. She was a member of First United Methodist Church at VFW Auxiliary, both of Falls City.

Vivian is survived by her husband, Bob, of Falls City; daughter, Vickie Zeigler, of Falls City; sons, Rusty (Tanya), of Salem, and Ryan, of Lincoln; sister, Gwen Sweezey, of American Canyon, CA; and two grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Edward McIlvain; sisters, Phyllis Schnedler, Gracie Soden and Pearl Irene in infancy, and a great-grandchild.

A private graveside service will be held on Saturday, July 19, 2014. The family will receive friends from 7-8 p.m. Friday, July 18, 2014 at Dorr and Clark Funeral Home. The family prefers memorials be made to Family Choice in lieu of flowers.
