Tuesday’s Pioneer Conference games moved to Wednesday

Due to Tuesday’s threat of heavy snow in the southeast Nebraska area, all Tuesday Pioneer Conference basketball tournament games have been postponed until Wednesday.

Games were originally scheduled for 4:30, 6:00 and 7:30 p.m. at Nebraska City Lourdes and Johnson-Brock, with each site to host three games. Game times and host sites remain the same for Wednesday and are as follows:

GIRLS – 4:30 p.m. – No. 1 Friend (17-1) vs. No. 8 Pawnee City (7-9)

BOYS – 6:00 – No. 3 Sterling (11-6) vs. No. 6 Friend (7-9)

BOYS – 7:30 – No. 7 Diller-Odell (9-9) vs. No. 2 NC Lourdes (13-4)

GIRLS – 4:30 – No. 7 Johnson-Brock (9-10) vs. No. 2 FC Sacred Heart (18-1)

BOYS – 6:00 – No. 1 FC Sacred Heart (16-2) vs. No. 8 Johnson-Brock (5-13)

BOYS – 7:30 – No. 5 Pawnee City (11-6) vs. No. 4 Lewiston (11-7)

Semifinal, third-place and championship games move to Falls City’s Prichard Auditorium Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

Thursday’s semifinal games are set for 3 p.m. (girls), 4:30 (boys), 6:00 (girls) and 7:30 (boys); Friday’s girls third-place game will tip-off at 6 p.m. with the girls championship to follow at approximately 7:45.

Saturday’s boys third-place and championship are scheduled for 4 p.m. and 5:45, respectively.
