Sherry L. Ludwig (Slagle), 71, of Yucaipa, CA, formerly of Shubert, passed away Jan. 8, at her home. She was born July 25, 1942 in Auburn, to Paul and Alberta (Parriott) Slagle.
Sherry was raised in Shubert and graduated from Shubert High School in 1960. She was united in marriage to Larry B. Ludwig on July 3, 1960 at the Shubert Christian Church. They lived in Shubert for several years, and then moved to LaVista, where she worked in real estate sales. She was also active in the LaVista Jaycees for several years. They moved to Dallas in 1983, and then to California in 1987.
Sherry is survived by her husband, Larry; two daughters, Pamela (Leon) Kunze and Teresa Willett; four grandchildren, all of Yucaipa; and other relatives, and many, many friends.
A funeral service was held Monday, Jan. 20, at the Shubert Christian Church. Burial followed at the Harris Cemetery in Barada.Visitation was Sunday, Jan. 19, at the Hall Funeral Chapel in Auburn.
